<metadataxml><content><line>&lt;p&gt;Thomas Dingwall, who worked for Moore Business Forms for 42 years, died Saturday (April 22, 2000) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. He was 80.&lt;/p&gt;</line><line>&lt;p&gt;Born in Stevenston, Scotland, he moved to Niagara Falls in 1927 and to Lewiston in 1976. He was a graduate of Trott Vocational High School in Niagara Falls.&lt;/p&gt;</line><line>&lt;p&gt;Dingwall was a member of the team that developed the 10-color press for Moore. After working for Moore in Fremont, Ohio, and Green Bay, Wis., he was sent to the Moore Research Center on Grand Island in 1970, retiring in 1980 as a senior research technician.&lt;/p&gt;</line><line>&lt;p&gt;During World War II, he served in the Army, participating in the Normandy invasion and attaining the rank of staff sergeant.&lt;/p&gt;</line><line>&lt;p&gt;Dingwall was a member of LaSalle Lodge 1049, F&amp;amp;AM; the Mackenzie Social Club; the Royal Order of Scottish Clans; and the Buff Social Club.&lt;/p&gt;</line><line>&lt;p&gt;Survivors include his wife of 54 years, the former Charlotte Joyce; a son, Kevin D. of Niagara Falls; a daughter, Karen Roulley of Niagara Falls; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.&lt;/p&gt;</line><line>&lt;p&gt;Services were held at 1 p.m. today in Otto Redanz Funeral Home, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton.&lt;/p&gt;</line></content></metadataxml>
